Seactain na nGaeilge gave the 4th class the chance to celebrate everything that is good about living in Ireland. The experience helped to integrate all subjects on the curriculum….. This has been a very busy time for 4th Class as they helped to launch Seacthain na Gaeilge with the Avicii song as Gaeilge. Some of the class played guitar and others sang along. One boy from each class led the group in singing. The 4th classes were just as good if not better than the All-Black rugby team. The 4th classes practiced prayers and hymns as Gaeilge for the Aifreann gaelach. All 4th classes attended mass in Foxrock church. Some of the boys in our class played the concertina and tin whistle on the altar. Our classes had great fun with yoga as Gaeilge.
Dublin Diocesan Guidebook , p. Pobal an Aifrinn, established in , consisting of lay men and women, has helped in the provision of Mass in Irish in the Archdiocese since Vatican II. The number of priests is falling and there has been a consequent reduction in the number of Sunday Masses in some parishes.
This picture is from a lithograph in a late 19th century book entitled Almanac of Ireland. It is of a mass celebrated on a mountain. The mass was outlawed in Ireland under the penal laws. Just as the early Christians had mass in the catecombs, the Catholics of Ireland celebrated mass on a mass rock in the mountains and in other places where they would be safe.

I told her that I want to only be friends. The point of a date is to get to know someone better. First, my dad was a wonderful husband to my mother the greatest mom on earthand a wonderful father to me.
